NABLUS, August 18, 2026 (WAFA) —Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, continued for the tenth consecutive day to besiege several homes in Qusra, south of Nablus, in what residents describe as an attempt to take control of the properties and impose a new reality on the ground.
According to a local correspondent, Israeli forces and settlers continued to surround three homes in the Ras al-Ain area, preventing the families from entering or leaving while the area was declared a closed military zone.
The colonists reportedly remain deployed throughout the area and move freely. One homeowner, Louay Abu Rida, a U.S. citizen, managed to reach his home the previous day after returning from the United States with an American delegation.
