UPDATE: Colonists attack vehicles near Tuqu' in Bethlehem, damage water line east of Tubas

 

 

BETHLEHEM, August 17, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian citizens’ vehicles on Monday night at the roundabout of the town of Tuqu', southeast of Bethlehem, said local sources.

Sources told WAFA that the colonists attacked passing vehicles, causing material damage to several cars, with no injuries reported.

Meanwhile, colonists attacked a water transmission line tonight of Tubas.

Mukhlis Masa’id, head of the Yarza village council, said that colonists attacked a water line supplying Palestinian families in the areas of Yarza and Ras al-Ahmar, east of Tubas.

Various areas across the occupied West Bank have witnessed an escalation in attacks by colonists against citizens and their property, including targeting vehicles and homes, assaulting farmers, and vandalizing agricultural lands and property.
