JENIN, August 13, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces tightened their military measures east of Jenin city on Thursday morning, closing all entrances and roundabouts along the bypass road from Haddad Roundabout to the Al-Jalama checkpoint.

Local sources told WAFA that Israeli forces completely closed the roads and roundabouts amid preparations for the announced opening of the Israeli settlement of Ganim and the beginning of settlers’ residence there today.

The sources said the measures were aimed at securing the movement of settlers traveling to the settlement, while the closures obstructed the movement of Palestinian residents and disrupted traffic in the area.
