HEBRON, August 11, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli forces demolished a Palestinian house and filled in a water well on Tuesday in the Bedouin community of Yatta, south of Hebron.
Media activist Osama Mughamra said that Israeli forces demolished the home of Ibrahim Mufleh Al-Atemin, which housed nine people, leaving them homeless. Troops also filled in a 180-cubic-meter water well belonging to Hashem Ibrahim Al-Atemin for the second time.
Mughamra added that the residents were surprised by the demolition, especially since they had previously filed demolition notices before Israeli courts.
Israeli court rejected the residents' appeals to halt dozens of demolition notices in the Bedouin community, increasing their fears of further sudden demolitions.
