Colonists break into house in Jenin, steal contents

JENIN, August 10, 2026 (WAFA) - Israeli colonists on Monday broke into a house on the outskirts of the eastern neighborhood of the West Bank city of Jenin and stole some of its contents.

Surveillance camera footage showed colonists breaching a Palestinian-owned house, located near the Ganim colony. The house was unoccupied at the time of the break-in.

The vandals ransacked its contents before stealing several belongings.

Meanwhile, colonists assaulted Palestinians and vandalized their property in the Ein Al-Hilweh community in the northern Jordan Valley.

Colonists’ violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities.

Colonists’ violence includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, among others.

Approximately 1 million Israeli colonists are living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem in violation of international law.
