NABLUS, August 7, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian resident was injured after being beaten and detained by Israeli occupation forces during an attack by the occupation forces and colonists on the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus, while colonists also attacked residents’ homes in Khirbet al-Himma in the northern Jordan Valley, according to local sources.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that a man in his 40s was injured after being beaten by Israeli forces before being detained. The nature of his injury was not immediately known, and coordination was underway with the International Committee of the Red Cross to follow up on his condition.

The occupation forces and colonists attacked the eastern area of Beit Furik, smashing several surveillance cameras installed around homes before assaulting residents’ houses. Residents confronted the colonist attack as occupation forces raided the area, assaulted several residents, and prevented an ambulance from reaching the injured resident.

Meanwhile, in Khirbet al-Himma in the northern Jordan Valley, colonists attacked residents’ homes, intimidating them and threatening to force them to leave, according to local sources.

Residents of Khirbet al-Himma have been subjected to escalating colonist attacks, with colonists repeatedly raiding homes and intimidating residents. They also seized the area’s only water spring months ago and fenced it off, further exacerbating residents’ difficulties in accessing water for their daily needs and livestock.
