JENIN, Thursday, August 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Thursday evening shot a Palestinian and assaulted another in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, according to the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
The PRCS said that its crews treated a 14-year-old minor who sustained a live gunshot wound to the lower back from occupation forces, and subsequently transferred him to a hospital for medical treatment.
It added that its crews also evacuated another Palestinian who was severely beaten up by Israeli troops.
Earlier this evening, the occupying forces barged their way into the Al-Zayed Roundabout area of the city, where earlier today dozens of Palestinians surrounded an Israeli-licensed vehicle.
The gun-toting soldiers sealed off the area, rounded up several young men, and broke into commercial shops, ransacking their contents.
Earlier, two colonists drove their vehicle into the city. Subsequently, their vehicle allegedly came under a stone-throwing attack. The colonists were unharmed.
