GAZA, Thursday, August 6, 2026 (WAFA) – The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 73,382 Palestinians killed and 174,236 injured since October 7, 2023, according to medical sources.

The sources said hospitals across the Strip received the body of one Palestinian who succumbed to wounds over the past 24 hours, in addition to five injured people.

They added that the total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire that took effect on October 11 last year has reached 1,255, while the number of injuries has risen to 4,125. A total of 806 bodies have also been recovered during the same period.

Medical sources noted that a number of victims remain trapped under the rubble and on roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews continue to face difficulties reaching them.
