RAMALLAH, Thursday, August 6, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestine Red Crescent Society said its teams in the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate treated three injuries today after Israeli forces assaulted residents during their raid on Qalandiya refugee camp and the town of Kafr Aqab, north of occupied Jerusalem.
In a statement, the Red Crescent said the number of injuries treated by its teams since the beginning of the Israeli military raid on the area has risen to 16.
It added that its crews were able to transfer a number of patients to hospitals, but continue to face obstacles while carrying out their duties, hindering their access to injured and sick people and the provision of necessary emergency services.
Israeli forces have continued their assault on Qalandiya refugee camp for the second consecutive day, closing its entrances, raiding dozens of homes, and detaining and arresting a number of residents.
