BETHLEHEM, August 5, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces today closed the Solomon’s Pools tourist area, located between the town of al-Khader and the village of Artas, south of Bethlehem.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces stormed the Solomon’s Pools area, deployed at the first pool, and closed the main road leading to Artas village and the Convention Palace, causing traffic congestion in the area.
The correspondent added that Israeli forces and colonists have intensified their attacks on the Solomon’s Pools area, including assaults on visitors and preventing Palestinian citizens from accessing the site.
