GAZA, August 5, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces continued artillery shelling and gunfire targeting several areas across the Gaza Strip, including Gaza, the central Gaza Strip, and Khan Younis governorates, since Wednesday morning.

WAFA correspondents reported that Israeli artillery shelled the vicinity of al-Da‘wa Street, northeast of the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, coinciding with heavy gunfire from Israeli military vehicles.

Israeli artillery, along with gunfire from military vehicles, also targeted the northern areas of al-Bureij refugee camp, which houses refugees and displaced people, in the central Gaza Strip.

In the southern Gaza Strip, Israeli artillery shelling struck areas southwest of Khan Younis city.

In Gaza City, Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire toward the eastern areas of the al-Tuffah neighborhood.
