BETHLEHEM, August 5, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces today forced a Palestinian resident in the village of al-Minya, southeast of Bethlehem, to evacuate his home in preparation for its demolition.
Al-Minya village council head Ahmad Kawazbeh told WAFA that Israeli forces raided the village and deployed in the area of “Khalayel al-Qasr” east of the village.
He said the forces forced 75-year-old resident Abd Rabbo Mahmoud Kawazbeh to evacuate his one-story home, measuring 150 square meters, ahead of its demolition.
Kawazbeh added that Israeli forces sealed off the area completely and prevented residents from approaching the site.
