RAMALLAH, August 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked a vehicle belonging to a resident of Deir Dibwan, east of Ramallah, on Tuesday as he and his family were leaving their farm in the Al-Marj area east of the town, in what was described as an attempt to seize the vehicle.
Resident Raed Suleiman al-Arara said that two vehicles carrying around 10 colonists, one of whom was armed, blocked his way. He said the colonists deliberately rammed his vehicle before several of them got out and attempted to assault him and his family members and take control of the vehicle. He managed to escape the area.
Al-Arara added that his wife and daughters were with him during the attack, which caused severe fear and panic among the family members. The vehicle sustained material damage, but no injuries were reported.
The Al-Marj area east of Deir Dibwan has been witnessing daily attacks by colonist groups against farmers and their property amid an escalation of assaults targeting agricultural lands in the area.
