BETHLEHEM, August 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces closed the Solomon’s Pools tourist area, located between the town of Al-Khader and the village of Artas, south of Bethlehem, on Tuesday.
Local and security sources told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the Solomon’s Pools area and sealed it off by setting up military checkpoints and preventing residents from accessing the site.
The sources added that Israeli forces also raided a house in the area, with no arrests reported.
Solomon’s Pools is one of the most prominent historical and tourist sites in the Bethlehem governorate. The area has been repeatedly raided and closed by Israeli occupation forces, restricting access for residents and visitors.
