TUBAS, August 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by Israeli colonists, erected several makeshift structures east of the city of Tubas on Tuesday, raising concerns that they could serve as the nucleus of a new Israeli colonial outpost in the area.
Mukhlis Masa'id, head of the Yarza Village Council, said Israeli forces and colonists erected several makeshift structures along the road leading to the Khirbet Yarza community, east of Tubas.
He added that colonists also installed iron fence posts as an initial step toward fencing off hundreds of dunums of Palestinian grazing land, restricting Palestinian access to the area.
