Occupation forces raid neighborhoods in Hebron, detain former prisoners

HEBRON, August 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces raided several neighborhoods in the city of Hebron on Tuesday, detaining and field-interrogating a number of former Palestinian prisoners after storming their homes.

Local sources said Israeli forces raided several neighborhoods across Hebron and detained a number of former prisoners inside a house in the southern part of the city, where they conducted field interrogations. Some of the detainees were physically assaulted before being released.

Those detained were identified as Qusai Abu Hatta, Mohammad Ayoub al-Rajabi, Bashir Faisal al-Karaki, Khattab Arafat al-Qawasmi, Amjad al-Rajabi, Fadi Abu Sneineh, Badi' al-Rajabi and Tamer al-Rajabi.

Israeli occupation forces also raided Al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of Hebron, where they searched several homes and caused extensive damage to property.

Meanwhile, Israeli colonists stormed the Khirbet al-Kharaba community in Masafer Yatta, attacking Palestinian homes and terrorizing residents, including children.
