UPDATE: Three Palestinians injured as Israeli forces raid eastern Nablus to secure colonists’ raid on Joseph’s Tomb

NABLUS, August 3, 2026 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians, including a woman, were injured on Monday night during an Israeli occupation forces’ raid on the eastern area of Nablus, carried out to secure a raid by Israeli colonists on Joseph’s Tomb.

WAFA correspondents reported that Israeli military vehicles, accompanied by a bulldozer, stormed the eastern area of the city amid heavy gunfire and the firing of tear gas canisters to secure the raid by Israeli colonists on Joseph’s Tomb.

Director of the Palestine Red Crescent Society’s Emergency Center in Nablus, Ameed Ahmad, said ambulance crews treated an 18-year-old young man who was shot with live ammunition in the foot, a 54-year-old resident of Balata refugee camp who sustained bruises and contusions after being assaulted by Israeli occupation soldiers, and a 56-year-old woman who was injured after falling from a height during the raid.

The three injured Palestinians were transferred to the hospital for treatment.
