Colonists set fire to Palestinian land northwest of Nablus

NABLUS, August 3, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists on Monday evening set fire to Palestinian land in the town of Burqa, northwest of Nablus.

Local sources reported that a group of colonists, under the protection of Israeli occupation soldiers, attacked the town and ignited fires on land near the northern cemetery, burning a number of trees.

Burqa, like other towns and villages northwest of Nablus, has been subjected to repeated attacks by Israeli colonists, including assaults on residents and their property, as well as the burning of agricultural land and trees, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
