JERUSALEM, August 2, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists on Sunday expanded a colonial outpost they established on the lands of Beit Iksa town, northwest of occupied Jerusalem, by bringing heavy machinery and bulldozers to the site and carrying out further land leveling and excavation works.

Local sources told WAFA that the colonists brought bulldozers and heavy equipment to the outpost area and began clearing and leveling the land in a move aimed at expanding the outpost and strengthening their colonial presence in the area.

The sources added that the expansion efforts are part of ongoing attempts to impose new facts on the ground and seize more Palestinian land, amid protection from Israeli occupation forces, which secure the colonists’ movements and prevent residents from accessing their lands.

Colonists began establishing the outpost on March 11, 2026. They carried out land leveling works, installed colonial structures, closed the only agricultural road used by residents to reach their lands, and threatened Palestinians under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
