QALQILYA, July 30, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli forces prevented Palestinians from reaching a fire that broke out near the separation wall in the Al-Muruj area, north of Qalqilya, on Thursday. The fire spread, burning approximately 100 beehives.
Local sources reported that the fire later reached land owned by Palestinian resident Taysir Nawfal, which contained about 100 beehives, causing material losses estimated at 100,000 shekels.
The sources added that civil defense crews eventually reached the site and brought the fire under control, but the beehives had already been completely destroyed.
