SALFIT, July 26, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli occupation forces detained a Palestinian citizen and seized money and gold jewelry during a raid on the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan, in the central West Bank province of Salfit, early Sunday.
Local sources told WAFA that Israeli forces detained Sadeq Fawzat Rayan after raiding his home and ransacking its contents, just days after his release.
The sources added that Israeli forces stormed the town and carried out widespread raids and searches of Palestinian homes, during which they damaged property and seized money and gold jewelry from one of the houses.
The forces also raided several homes in the nearby town of Al-Zawiya.
