Israeli colonists block Palestinians from reaching grazing lands in the Jordan Valley

JORDAN VALLEY, July 26, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists prevented Palestinian residents from reaching grazing areas in the northern Jordan Valley, northeast of the occupied West Bank, on Sunday.

Local sources said a group of colonists prevented farmers from grazing their livestock in the pastures surrounding their tents in Khirbet Samra, in the northern Jordan Valley, and forced them to leave the area.

The area has witnessed repeated attacks and raids by armed Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, in an effort to force them to abandon their lands.

According to the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission, Israeli colonists carried out 3,488 attacks during the first half of this year, including assaults on Palestinian villages and residents, arson attacks on homes, shootings, the establishment of colonial outposts, seizure of Palestinian lands, and attacks on roads and Palestinian vehicles.
