NABLUS, July 26, 2026 (WAFA) — Israeli colonists set fire to a mosque under construction in the town of Qusra, south of Nablus, and torched parts of a Palestinian home in the town of Beit Furik, east of the city, in attacks early Sunday.

Qusra Mayor Abdul Azim Wadi told WAFA that colonists attacked the southern area of the town and set fire to Al-Rahma Mosque, which is still under construction, causing wooden materials and equipment at the site to burn.

In Beit Furik, colonists attacked the Al-Dhubbat neighborhood and set fire to the home of Palestinian resident Ubada Mleitat, causing parts of the house to burn before locals managed to put out the fire, Palestinian security sources reported.

The sources added that the colonists also spray-painted racist slogans calling for revenge and retaliation against Arabs.

The attacks come amid a continued escalation in terrorism by Israeli colonists across the occupied West Bank, with recurring attacks on homes, religious sites and property.
