HEBRON, Thursday, July 23, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Thursday closed the Bab al-Zawiya area of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron, according to WAFA correspondent.

He reported that a large force of Israeli occupation soldiers raided the Bab al-Zawiya area, which functions as Hebron's bustling main market and business hub, and sealed off Bir As-Sabi leading to it.

He added that the gun-toting soldiers dispersed residents, forced shop owners to close their businesses, and cleared the area of vehicles to facilitate the intrusion of dozens of colonists into an archaeological site.
