NABLUS, July 23, 2026 (WAFA) – Two Palestinians were wounded by Israeli gunfire on Thursday during a military induction into the town of Beit Furik, east of Nablus.
Sources from the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that two men, aged 43 and 40, sustained live-bullet injuries to the abdomen and were transferred to a hospital for treatment.
Local sources said Israeli forces stormed the town and opened live fire at residents, resulting in the injuries.
In a related incident, Israeli colonists set fire to Palestinian-owned lands belonging to the towns of Salem, Beit Furik, and Beit Dajan, east of Nablus.
A group of Israeli colonists attacked lands belonging to the three villages and set fire to them, causing widespread blaze in the area.
