AMSTERDAM, July 21, 2026 (WAFA) – The Dutch government announced today, Tuesday, that it will ban products from Israeli colonies starting September 22.

The decision follows similar measures taken by Ireland, Belgium, and Spain.

The Dutch Foreign Ministry said that, through these measures, the Netherlands is strengthening its commitment to fulfilling its international legal obligation not to contribute to the continuation of this unlawful situation.

The ministry explained that the ban will cover the import, purchase, and sale of products originating from illegal Israeli colonies located in the occupied Palestinian Territory.
