JENIN, July 19, 2026 (WAFA) - Israeli occupation forces on Sunday issued stop-work and construction orders targeting Palestinian structures in the eastern area of Jenin, north of the occupied West Bank, near the Kadim settlement.
Local sources told WAFA that Israeli occupation personnel delivered the notices to a number of Palestinians, targeting structures and properties in the area.
Meantime, Israeli authorities continue to escalate measures against Palestinians in the eastern areas of Jenin, particularly those adjacent to the Kadim settlement, by targeting Palestinian structures and properties with stop-work orders aimed at restricting Palestinian urban expansion, the sources added.
Israeli authorities routinely issue stop-work and demolition orders against Palestinian structures across the occupied West Bank, particularly in Area C, citing the lack of Israeli-issued building permits.
