RAMALLAH, July 19, 2026 (WAFA) – Dozens of Palestinians suffered from tear gas inhalation on Sunday evening during an Israeli military raid on the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah.

The head of the Al-Mughayyir village council, Amin Abu Aliya, told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the village and fired dozens of tear gas canisters at the mourning tent for Fadi Naasan, causing dozens of residents to suffer from tear gas inhalation.

The 17-year-old Fadi Naasan was killed early Saturday morning, succumbing to injuries sustained about a week earlier when he was shot in the thigh with an explosive bullet fired during an attack by colonists.

Al-Mughayyir and the surrounding villages and towns are subjected to frequent raids by Israeli forces, in addition to ongoing attacks by colonists against Palestinian residents and their property.
