Israeli colonists graze their sheep on Palestinian residents' lands near Jerusalem

JERUSALEM, July 19, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists grazed Sunday evening their livestock among the homes of Palestinian residents and near their livestock pens in the Al-Mahtoush-Al-Ara’ara community, east of occupied Jerusalem.

Residents of the community said that such actions coincide with ongoing restrictions imposed by colonists  on Palestinian shepherds, including preventing them from accessing grazing lands and sometimes obstructing their ability to take their livestock out to pasture, further impacting  their daily lives and livelihoods.

They added that these measures are part of a policy aimed at pressuring the community's residents and forcing them to leave their land, amidst continued attacks and practices designed to impose a new reality on the area.
