GAZA, July 19, 2026 (WAFA) - Medical teams recovered the bodies of two Palestinians on Sunday from the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
WAFA correspondent, citing medical sources in the Gaza Strip, reported that the bodies of two Palestinians were recovered from Kashko Street in Al-Zeitoun, where they were targeted by Israeli shelling overnight.
The Al-Zeitoun neighborhood witnessed intense artillery shelling on Saturday following Israeli evacuation threats, forcing dozens of families to flee the area.
Since the start of the ceasefire agreement on October 11 last year, 1,144 Palestinians have been killed and more than 3,700 injured in continued Israeli attacks, while the bodies of 802 victims have been recovered.
