HEBRON, July 18, 2026 (WAFA) - Israeli colonists attacked Palestinian homes in the towns of Yatta and As-Samu', south of Hebron, on Saturday evening, stealing three head of livestock.
Osama Makhamreh, a local anti-settlement activist, told WAFA that armed Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, attacked two inhabited homes in the Wadi Al-Rakhim area south of Yatta and stole three sheep from their animal pen.
Makhamreh added that Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition in the area. No injuries were reported, although a child, Yaseen Mohammad Shnaran, suffered severe shock and convulsions due to fear and was hospitalized.
In a separate incident, armed Israeli colonists, protected by Israeli forces, attempted to steal sheep in the Wadi Ajheish area of As-Samu', but local residents confronted them and forced them to leave.
