BETHLEHEM, July 18, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was shot and wounded by Israeli forces on Saturday afternoon in the Wadi al-Hummus area, east of Bethlehem.
Mohammed Allan, director of the al-Ubaidiya ambulance service, told WAFA correspondent that Israeli forces chased workers in the Wadi al-Hummus area, located between Dar Salah, east of Bethlehem, and the town of Sur Baher, and opened fire on them.
A man in his 30s from the town of Sa'ir, north of Hebron, was shot in the lower limbs with live ammunition. He was transferred to a hospital for medical treatment.
Allan noted that Israeli forces have escalated their pursuit and harassment of Palestinian workers in the Wadi al-Hummus area, resulting in multiple shooting injuries.
