BETHLEHEM, July 16, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was injured late Wednesday after being assaulted by Israeli colonists in the Abu Njeim area, southeast of Bethlehem.
Security sources told WAFA correspondent that dozens of colonists attacked Anwar Muhammad Musa Fawaghra, 30, severely beating him and causing bruises and injuries. He was subsequently transferred to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Colonists have escalated their attacks on Palestinians in the Abu Njeim area and the southeastern part of the Bethlehem Governorate.
