BETHELEM, July 8, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian man was shot in the thigh with live ammunition by Israeli forces on Wednesday before being detained at the 300 military checkpoint located between Bethlehem and Jerusalem.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its paramedics treated the wounded man at the scene, However, Israeli soldiers forced the ambulance crew to transport him to the checkpoint, where he was taken into custody directly from the ambulance.
