GAZA, July 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Two Israeli airstrikes on Tuesday evening killed two civilians, including a minor, and injured four others on Tel al-Hawa neighborhood, south of Gaza City, according to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS).
PRCS medics said that they evacuated the bodies of two slain civilians and four casualties to al-Quds Hospital following two Israeli strikes, one of which targeted the vicinity of Barcelona Square and the other hit the vicinity of the Gaza Governorate building.
Earlier today, medical sources confirmed that the death toll from the Israeli genocidal aggression on the Gaza Strip surged to 73,102, mostly women and children, and the casualties to 173,581 since the onset of the genocidal aggression on the Strip on October 7, 2023.
They added that in the last 24 hours, the bodies of four slain Palestinians and 11 casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals.
Since the ceasefire agreement went into effect at noon on 10 October 2025, the occupation forces have killed 1,076 Palestinians and injured 3,474 others. The bodies of 799 Palestinians have been retrieved over the same period.
Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.
The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
