HEBRON, Tuesday, July 7, 2026 (WAFA) – Several Palestinians sustained bruises and contusions on Tuesday after being assaulted by Israeli colonists in the Hawara area, east of the town of Yatta, south of Hebron. Israeli occupation forces also detained an elderly Palestinian during the attack.
Local sources told WAFA that the colonists attacked several Palestinian homes, including the home of the family of Ibrahim Ismail al-Jabour, assaulting residents and spraying them with pepper spray, leaving several people injured.
The sources added that Israeli occupation forces detained elderly resident Ibrahim Ismail al-Jabour in the Hawara area of Masafer Yatta while the colonists were carrying out their attack against local residents.
