HEBRON, July 5, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained two Palestinian brothers on Sunday after raiding their home in the Shaab al-Butm area of Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, according to local sources.

Media activist Osama Makhamreh told WAFA that Israeli colonists stormed the home of the brothers Muhannad and Fadi al-Jabareen and attempted to assault them before Israeli forces arrived and detained the two men. They were subsequently taken to an undisclosed location.

Residents said Israeli forces frequently provide protection for colonists during repeated attacks against Palestinians in Masafer Yatta, adding that such incidents are part of ongoing pressure aimed at forcing residents to leave their land.
