RAMALLAH, July 5, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked the outskirts of the town of Sinjil, north of Ramallah, on Sunday, according to local sources.
The sources said the colonists, accompanied by livestock, assaulted areas near residents’ homes in the northern part of the town and attempted to break into houses, before being confronted by residents who forced them to retreat.
They added that the attack came shortly after Israeli authorities seized 464.4 dunums of land in Sinjil and designated them as state land, in a move aimed at expanding colonial activity in the area, according to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission.
