Colonists attack village near Tubas, injure seven Palestinians

TUBAS, Friday, July 3, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Friday attacked the village of Yerza, east of Tubas, injuring seven Palestinians, according to the head of the Village Council, Mukhlis Masa'id.

Masa'id said that colonists stormed the village and attacked the villagers who had come to inspect their homes, which they had been forced to leave several months ago, resulting in bruises to seven villagers.

He added that two casualties were transferred to a hospital for treatment, while Israeli occupation forces were holding the remaining casualties and preventing their hospitalization.

Meanwhile, a Palestinian was shot in the course of confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in Beit Fajjar, a town to the south of Bethlehem.

The casualty sustained a gunshot injury in the thigh.
