JERUSALEM, Thursday, July 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Thursday set up two military checkpoints in the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Jerusalem Governorate said Israeli forces established checkpoints at the entrances to Wadi Hilweh and Bab al-Maghariba in Silwan, where they stopped vehicles and checked residents' identification cards.
