RAMALLAH, Thursday, July 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Thursday morning closed the Atara and Nabi Saleh checkpoints north of Ramallah.
WAFA correspondent reported that Israeli forces closed the Atara checkpoint in all directions and sealed off the entrance to the village of Nabi Saleh, forcing residents to take lengthy alternative routes.
The forces also set up a military checkpoint at the entrances to the villages of Aboud and Ein Siniya, north of Ramallah, where they impeded the movement of residents by randomly stopping and searching vehicles, causing heavy traffic congestion.
