BETHLEHEM, July 1, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday detained a Palestinian man from the village of Al-Rashaydeh, east of Bethlehem, several days after he was attacked by colonists while grazing his sheep, according to a local official.
Head of the Al-Rashaydeh village council, Bakr Rashaydeh, told WAFA correspondent that Israeli forces detained Muslim Khalil Rashaydeh, 45, after storming and searching his home.
The 45-year-old man was assaulted days earlier by colonists while herding his sheep, leaving him with bruises and injuries.
