RAMALLAH, Wednesday, July 1, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained five Palestinians, including a woman, during predawn raids on Wednesday in the Ramallah governorate.
Security sources told WAFA that Israeli forces stormed the town of Ni'lin, west of Ramallah, and detained Mohammad Abdul Karim Surour, 55, Shukri Mahmoud Al-Khawaja, 58, Yousef Ali Surour, 46, and Mousa Abdul Karim Surour, 58, after raiding and searching their homes.
The sources added that Israeli forces also briefly detained Salah Al-Khawaja, 58, before releasing him later after serving him with a summons for interrogation by Israeli intelligence.
They said forces also raided the Batn Al-Hawa neighborhood in Ramallah city and detained Jamila Dahou after storming her home.
