JERUSALEM, June 29, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained two young men overnight from the town of Hizma, northeast of occupied Jerusalem, following residents’ confrontation of a settler attack on the outskirts of the town.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that colonists stormed the area and attempted to set fire to Palestinian vehicles. Residents’ intervention and presence at the scene prevented the attack from being carried out.
The report added that Israeli forces later raided the area and detained two youths identified as Sand al-Khatib and Mohammad Odeh al-Hajj.
