BETHLEHEM, June 28, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Sunday evening set up a military checkpoint at the main entrance to the western countryside of Bethlehem governorate.
Local sources told WAFA that Israeli forces established the checkpoint beneath the bridge near the Aqabat Hasna area on the road leading to the towns of Battir and Nahhalin and the villages of Husan and Wadi Fukin. Soldiers stopped and searched vehicles, checked the identity cards of passengers, causing a traffic jam.
