JERUSALEM, June 28, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Sunday evening detained three Palestinian residents from the towns of Silwan and Biddu in occupied Jerusalem.

According to the Jerusalem Governorate, Israeli forces detained two residents, whose identities remain unknown, during a raid into the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Governorate added that Israeli forces also detained a young man, whose identity has not yet been identified, during a raid into the town of Biddu, northwest of occupied Jerusalem.

Meanwhile, the Governorate said Israeli forces set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to the town of Hizma, north of occupied Jerusalem, and tightened military measures at the Qalandiya checkpoint, causing heavy traffic congestion.
