KHAN YOUNIS, June 28, 2026 (WAFA) – Several civilians were injured on Sunday evening after an Israeli warplane targeted a tent sheltering displaced people in the southern Gaza Strip city of Khan Younis.

Local sources said an Israeli warplane fired a missile at the tent, injuring several people, who were transferred to hospital for medical treatment.

Earlier on Sunday, medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip has risen to 73,054, with 173,480 others injured since October 7, 2023.

The same sources said that hospitals across the Strip had received three new fatalities and 43 injured people over the past 24 hours.
