Israeli forces assault, detain Palestinian from Jerusalem near Al-Aqsa Mosque

JERUSALEM, June 26, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces assaulted and detained a Palestinian man from Jerusalem on Friday near the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem.

According to the Jerusalem Governorate, Israeli forces beat Jerusalemite Jihad Qous before detaining him near Bab al-Asbat (Lions' Gate).
