BETHLEHEM, June 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday issued stop-work notices for 15 homes in the village of Al-Walaja, northwest of Bethlehem.

Head of the village council, Khader al-A‘raj, told WAFA that occupation forces stormed the village and deployed in the Khallet al-Samak area in the northern part of the village, where they delivered notices ordering a halt to construction on 15 homes under the pretext of building without permits.

He added that occupation forces earlier on Wednesday demolished two caravans used as agricultural rooms, along with a concrete wall, in the Al-Sarj area belonging to resident Hakam al-Salawdi.
