BETHLEHEM, June 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists raided the village of Rashaydeh, east of Bethlehem.
The head of the Rashaydeh village council, Bakr Rashaydeh, told WAFA correspondent that a group of colonists stormed the eastern area of the village and fired live ammunition near homes, causing panic and fear among residents.
He added that colonists have intensified their attacks against local shepherds by preventing them from accessing grazing land and stealing livestock.
He emphasized that the residents of Rashaydeh rely on livestock farming as their primary source of income, noting that the sector includes approximately 29,000 sheep and cattle, and 700 camels.
